Mental performance coaching for rugby

Rugby demands a strong body, but also a cool head in contact, at the lineout and on goal kicks. As a mental performance professional, I help you train confidence, focus and pressure management so you hold your level for all 80 minutes.

Sound familiar?

What we work on most in rugby.

Mental performance work in rugby covers the individual and the team: in this sport, nobody plays alone.

The kick at goal

The stadium goes quiet, the game is on the line and it all depends on you.

Lineout or scrum mistakes

One lost lineout and you start doubting every throw.

Fear of contact

After a big hit, your body brakes before you decide.

Pressure from the team and club

You want to live up to the jersey and that tightens you up.

Focus for 80 minutes

You start strong and switch off in the second half.

Coming back from injury

You are cleared, but your confidence is not back yet.

What we train

Your mind, at the level of your game.

With a mental performance coach who knows rugby, the work is concrete: tools you can use at your next game.

  • Pre-kick routine and visualization
  • Emotional control in contact and heated moments
  • Communication at the lineout and scrum
  • Leadership on and off the field
  • A confident return to competition after an injury
